Westford Mill

Westford Mill, part of Beechfield Brands Ltd, provides a range of sizes and styles of environmentally friendly “bags for life”, manufactured from a range of natural materials, and is led by Managing Director Roger McHugh. Having acted as founding patron, Roger continues to fully support the aims of The Carbon Literacy Project, which are consistent with the brand values of Westford Mill. Roger was keen to get involved from the very start when we began to design The Carbon Literacy Project in March 2011.

Patagonia

The Carbon Literacy Trust has been a proud recipient of Patagonia’s Environmental Grants since 2016. This generous funding from Patagonia has enabled us to increase the number of Carbon Literate citizens and organisations in the world, expanding our low-carbon culture for the benefit of everyone.

For Patagonia, a love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them, and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of our planet. They donate time, services and at least 1% of their sales to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups, like ours, who work to help reverse the tide.

Virtual College

Virtual College has been a hugely supportive strategic partner in the development of Carbon Literacy: Knowledge e-Learning framework, as well as sponsoring the very first CL4RPs (Carbon Literacy for Registered Providers) consortium meeting.

The Carbon Literacy: Knowledge e-learning framework supports the teaching of the Knowledge component of Carbon Literacy.

Industry leaders in e-learning, Virtual College provide both public and private sector organisations and individual learners, UK and globally, with a choice of over 300 e-learning courses totalling over 1.5 million learners.
