Another week, another milestone… we are thrilled to announce, that less than a month since our last post, we’ve certified another thousand learners as Carbon Literate!

22,000 learners are now certified as Carbon Literate. This means that over 44,000 actions have been pledged – in communities, businesses, local authorities, schools and universities, across the UK and beyond – to take meaningful action towards a zero-carbon society.

Numbers are steadily climbing, and we have now certified a record 6,000 learners this year already. The rate of acceleration is incredibly exciting, and we can’t wait to share and celebrate the next milestone with you! With our Carbon Literacy Action Day on the horizon, we are hoping to see numbers increase even more before the end of this year.
